The LAUSD School Attendance Challenge aligns with the District's student attendance goal of improving attendance at every grade level and students are recognized district-wide for monthly and year-long perfect attendance.

Attendance Improvement Counselors have been hard at work to maintain or increase the number of students attending 96% of the time or better. Schools celebrate the 100th day of Attendance!

The Boyle Heights YouthSource Center held their grand opening celebration on November 16th , 2012. The program targets high school dropouts and assists them in returning to school.

Homeless Education Program (HEP) Day of Giving Event! Universal Studios partner with Operation School Bell to give back in a big way to to 200 Homeless LAUSD students.
